Weird War II Soviet wolfmen by Brigade Games painted by Neldoreth

Date: October 2, 2006 - Manufacturer: Brigade Games

The first of two Soviet Wolfmen. I picked these up from Brigade games thinking they were actually wolfmen, but they turned out to be Frankenstein monsters. A few cuts and some putty and they were wolfmen in no time :) The sculpts aren't so good, but the character of the figs makes up for it!

My second Soviet Wolfman, also from Brigade Games and was formerly a Russian Terminator.

All three of my ghouls completed. They are out to make the Motherland as safer place! Or are they?

The outcome of many sinister experiments unknown, this Soviet Ghoul has lost all of his humanity. The only thing he has left is his dedication to The Motherland! Invaders beware! The PPSh-41 sub-mahcine gun is strictly a bludgeoning weapon to this guy :)

Finally finished... Only about eight months of off-again-on-again work. Abandoned the casting idea and just finished the other leg (using simpler, tools and not worrying about castability. I am quite happy with it and it will work well in a weird war context!

Finished, but not painted. You can really see the difference between the castable leg and the leg that was simply build for ease and not concerned with castability. It was a fun project to be sure... Now I have to think about some german walkers...

This is the body of the Soviet G-27 walker for Dream Pod 9's alternate history World War II game called Gear Krieg. It is in 28mm, as that is really the best scale for me \ and the company only produces 15mm figs (but they produce no soviet walkers anyway...). I plan to cast this up so that I can make a \ handful without taking two weeks just to build a single leg and a single body...

This is the leg of the Soviet G-27 walker, first appearing in 1943. I wanted a real Soviet machine, as opposed to the lend-lease machines, so I decided to go with the first Soviet production. Also, there was an illustration in the book, so that made it much easier ;) This leg is designed to do double duty on both the left and right side!
