I like the character of this elements. The rider on the right clearly didn't see his buddy, and is now weaving away from him to avoid a collission. Naturally, his buddy is totally not looking where he os going (or even where he is shooting!). I am happy with the designs on these though, but perhaps a few more outline lines in the future.

Notice the hat on the rider on the left is similar to my Scythian water mark (the skull head in the top right). I figured I should try it at least, and I'm happy with how it worked! That bright green is a little anachronistic, but it looks good to my eye!

More green and yellow and red and black schemes. The Parthian light horse (fig on the right) and the Scythian light horse (fig on the left) look pretty good together I think.

Here's the group all together so far... A meagre six elements so far. I can really tell that I have a black-brown horse scheme for these guys... It's really tough to come up with new schemes for all of these horse riders... But overall I'm pretty happy with them.

The first two Scythian riders based for DBA 2.2. I went for bright but not too bright, and patterned but not too patterned. They turned out well, but I might change things up a bit for the next batch. The rider on the left is actually a Parthian light horseman, and the one of the left is a Scythian, but both figures are good representations of both Parthia or Scythia, so I went with it.

Another couple of light cavalry riders for my Scythians and Parthians. I went for a more detailed pattern on the oatmeal-coloured tunic, but it didn't come off as well as I'd expected. Overall though, I'm happy with these two. Again, the hatless figure is a Parthian, and the smurf-hat figure is a Scythian. They work well together I think.

Two Scythian light horse figures make up this final stand (so far) of Parthian/Scythian horse archers. There are so many figures, it's tough to come up with distinct tunic decorative schemes... But I'm happy with these two for sure.
