The hippogriff is inspired by the magpie as they are in the prairies of Canada. They are beautiful, mischievious birds that I really love. It also let me do something fun with the colours by allowing me to paint a black-primed figure up with blue highlights, all the way to white to show how it's kinda glossy and also add some green in there. I really like the way it turned out.
