This is the second element of Legionaries that I've finished, and it's shields match the first element of legionaries that I did. I did some hand to hand combat on this element, with the opposing Roman legionary about to take the sharp end of the pilum from his compromised position on the ground! I am pretty happy with the look overall, and the civil war theme works I think. Note the shields are all freehand except the shield of the downed legionary there, that's the LBMS decal that is included with the figures!... How does the freehand compare to the decal?
